Preview of Main Events

Steven Thompson vs. Geoff Neal

Wonderboy” has been out of action for over a year after winning his last fight against the dangerous Vincente Luque in November 2019. The UFC has asked him to fight another dangerous opponent in Geoff Neal who KO’s Mike Perry in under 2 minutes in the very first round in December 2019.

The bookmakers have the fighters at 20/21 for Thompson and 4/5 for Neal, we would give Wonderboy the edge due to his experience and fight IQ. “Wonderboy” has fought for the belt twice and is still a serious challenger for the UFC welterweight title. If he can get through Neal with an impressive win, he will throw himself back into the fray of title contenders.

Current odds: Steven Thompson (-105) / Geoff Neal (-125)

Jose Aldo vs. Marlon Vera

The co-main event will be headlined by the return of the King of Rio: Jose Aldo who will take on the impressive Marlon Vera who is coming off a stunning win over the hyped Sugar Sean O’Malley. The former UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo is now fighting at bantamweight and is the betting favorite with odds of 2/3 against Veras’s 6/5.

We would go with the odds makers and back Aldo as he has looked very impressive since dropping down to featherweight.

Current odds: Jose Aldo (-150) / Marlon Vera (+120)

Other Exciting Fights

The final card of the year is packed with exciting fights which one can see just by looking at the headliner on the preliminary card. Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis (-240) takes on Alex Morono (+190).

On the main card, watch out for heavyweight Greg Hardy (-125) take on Marcin Tybura (-105), a banger of a fight between Michel Pereira (-130) vs. Khaos Williams (EVENS) and Marlon Moraes (-155) take on Rob Font (+125).
