Canelo is the WBA (Super), WBC and The Ring champion and is looking to take Saunder’s WBO belt from him. The 30 year old Canelo is currently a huge betting favorite odds of 1/7 while Saunders is a massive underdog with odds of 9/2. Those odds are justified as Canelo continues to be dominant in the boxing ring and shows no weaknesses in his game.

UK‘s own WBO champ is looking to do what six other British fighters could not do to Canelo and that is defeat him. Saunders has never been beaten in his boxing career so far and has a (30-0, 14 KOs) but still goes in as a heavy underdog which speaks volumes of how good a boxer Canelo really is.

Billy Joe Saunders knows that his back is against the wall as he is attempting to become the second man in history to defeat Canelo. Saunders told the media that he was upset to find that there will be no British judge on the 3 judge panel.

The British fighter said that when he signed the fight contract, he was told that there would be one British judge on the panel.

However, there will be three neutral judges for this fight. Saunders claims that if he gets knocked out, he will not need the judges but if it goes the distance, he wants to be certain that he gets a fair decision.
