Triller Fight Club has confirmed that Evander Holyfield has agreed to step in as a replacement for Oscar De Lay Hoya who was scheduled to fight former UFC light heavyweight champ Vitor Belfort.

De La Hoya and Belfort were scheduled to fight on Sep 11 in at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California but De La Hoya had to pull out after contracting COVID-19. The California State Athletic Commission was not willing to sanction the fight as they felt the notice was too short for the 58 year old Holyfield to step in and fight the 44 year old Belfort. As a result, Triller decided to move this fight card to Florida as they were willing to give Holyfield his license to fight.

The fight will now take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood on Sep 11. Betonline have Belfort as the betting favorite with odds of -105 and Holyfield as the betting underdog with odds of -125. This fight will have a total of 8 x 2 minute rounds.
