UEFA Champions League TrophySportsbooks will take in hundreds of millions of dollars on betting action for the 2021-2022 Champions League. Bettors on the Champions League will use their own betting strategies to decide which team they are going to bet on.

Most bettors will just rely on their instinct and emotions when it comes to placing their bets. They will read the news, watch their favorite teams on television or live stream and then make a decision on their own as to which team to bet on.

Some bettors will take the advice of their friends and betting mates to determine which team they will back.

You also have a segment of bettors that take special betting advice from ‘betting gurus’ who give out their picks in return for a fee. A lot of bettors feel they are at an advantage by getting specific betting advice from these betting gurus.

Now a supercomputer known as FiveThirtyEight‘s supercomputer is using data analytics to make a prediction as to who will win the 2021-2022 Champions League.

Supercomputer Gives Out Different Odds

There are four English teams competing in the 2021-2022 Champions League. Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City will be part of the Champions League along with a number of other top teams including Paris Saint-Germain who is the current betting favorite to win the championship.

PSG are the favorites because they arguably have the best team in the competition featuring the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr. However, the supercomputer disagrees with the bookmakers and is backing Manchester City to win the 2021-2022 Champions League.

City beat PSG last year and went on to play Chelsea in the Champions League final. City ended up losing but the Supercomputer shows that City will be able to bounce back and go all the way this season and win the Champions League.

The supercomputer has given City a 10 percent chance to win, Liverpool has a nine percent chance to win, Manchester United have a five percent chance to win and PSG has a four percent chance to win.

Do keep in mind that the Supercomputer came up with these odds before Cristiano Ronaldo was signed to Manchester United. The odds for Manchester United should definitely go up as Ronaldo helped the Red Devils win the Champions League in 2008.

Will you trust your own instinct when you bet on the Champions League this season or will you go with the predictions from the Supercomputer?
