  • “Stand Up to Jewish Hate” campaign will run multiple ads to stop antisemitism
  • Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism will invest $25 million into the campaign

Billionaire Robert Kraft who owns the New England Patriots franchise in the National Football League (NFL) has announced that his Foundation to Combat Antisemitism will invest $25 million in a new campaign called “Stand Up to Jewish Hate“.

“Stand Up to Jewish Hate” Campaign

The 81 year old Robert Kraft has a strong Jewish heritage and is very passionate about the “Stand Up to Jewish Hate” campaign. The campaign will run multiple ads across digital, television and direct platforms to educate Americans all across the country about the rise in antisemitism.

The “Stand Up to Jewish Hate” campaign will get the help of top stars and top TV programs in the country such as the Kelly Clarkson Show, The Voice and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Kraft recently did a video call where he pointed to the little blue square lapel win that he was wearing and informed viewers that it represented the Jewish population in the United States. Kraft said the Jews accounted for just 2.4 percent of the American population but were subject to over 55 percent of hate crimes in America.

The Anti-Defamation League released a report last week which showed that antisemitic incidents in the United States increased 36 percent in 2022, while the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism recently published data which shows that Jews were the number one religious group that was targeted across 21 cities in America and accounted for 78 percent of all religious hate crimes.

Campaign Will Run Ads During NFL, NHL and NBA Games

Rapper Kanye West and NBA star Kyrie Irving received criticism last year for their antisemitic comments as both individuals have a massive following on social media. Kraft told the media recently that he had never seen so much hate against the Jews in America during his lifetime and it revealed a major breakdown in American society.

The “Stand Up to Jewish Hate” campaign will run ads to educate Americans on what antisemitism looks like and why it must not be tolerated. These ads will run during NBA, NFL and NHL playoffs and will also be promoted on social media by influencers.
