Sri Lanka vs. India: 3rd ODI Betting Preview

India are playing an India A team against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka as the main squad are in England preparing for a long tour ahead.

India have already won the three match ODI series against Sri Lanka after winning the second ODI on July 20 and taking a 2-0 series lead.

The third and final ODI will take place on July 23 and India are huge betting favorites to win and secure a 3-0 series whitewash.

The first ODI was a one sided affair as India showed how good their reserve players are as they outclassed Sri Lanka to win comfortably. The second ODI was a lot more competitive as Sri Lanka played well as a team and knocked over the top Indian batsmen to give themselves a chance at winning.

However Deepak Chahar played a match winning knock scoring 69 from 82 balls to take India home with 5 balls to spare. Sri Lanka will rue their missed opportunity and will want to make up for it by winning the third ODI.

Sri Lanka Cricket

India are huge betting favorites with Bwin for the third ODI with odds of 1/5 while Sri Lanka have odds of 7/2.

India’s youngsters have done well in the first two ODIs which is great for Indian cricket. There were not changes made to the playing XI in the first two ODI’s but India is likely to experiment for the third ODI now that they have won the series.

Sanju Samson is one of the players who is likely to make an appearance in the third ODI. Samson has passed a fitness test and could replace either Manish Pandey or Ishan Kishan. India could also make a couple of changes to their bowling line-up and rest Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. The likely replacements will come in the form of Varun Chakravarthy and Krishnappa Gowtham.
