When you talk about the two best players in the NBA, most of the fans will be happy to settle on LeBron James and Stephen Curry.

The Golden State Warriors have been phenomenal winning three out of the last four NBA Championships and a major reason for their success has been the quality of Stephen Curry and his ability to score when it mattered.

Stephen Curry has won back-to-back Most Valuable Player awards and his shooting percentage during the 2016 season went into the NBA record books as the highest shooting percentage of all time.

He broke that record in 2017 and has now gone on record to say that he is looking to improve his shooting percentage as he believes he can become even better this season.

While that might surprise a lot of NBA fans, it does not come as a major surprise for those who have really followed the career of the NBA All-Star. Curry has put in tremendous amount of work behind the scenes that has focused on both his fitness and his shooting accuracy every year – which is why he keeps getting better.

In a statement, Curry said

I might be delusional but I feel like I can get better at putting the ball in the basket. As I get older, the more efficient you can be with how you get your shots, how you create space, knowing where to be defensively, you prolong your career at your peak

Curry Yet To Reach His Peak

The 30 year old Curry has already notched up 10 seasons with the NBA and is one of the senior and most respected players in the NBA. Those close to curry believe that he hasn’t even reached his peak and will get a whole lot better in the coming years.

That’s a view that Stephen Curry shares as he believes that he can get a lot better and maintain peak performance for a number of years. Brandon Payne who is Curry’s personal trainer believes that Curry is not even close to peaking yet and the best is yet to come.

Curry no longer has to carry the Warriors on his shoulders and Kevin Durant has done a great job in providing support and taking the pressure off Curry. The fact that Curry believes he can get his shooting to a whole new level is great news for Stephen Curry fans and the Golden State Warriors.
