BetFair Joins Forces with Chester Racecourse April 9, 2014 Adrian Sterne https://plus.google.com/u/0/107032931670136448831

BetfairWe didn’t think it would be very long before a major betting site operator joined forces with a racecourse to offer a range of services that have yet to be seen offered at such a venue, and we have just been informed that BetFair will be rolling out a new initiative at Chester Racecourse which will see punters being able to latch onto BetFair’s own unique Wifi Hotspot.

One of the major problems that a lot of UK racecourses have is that they are often miles away from the nearest town, whilst this is certainly not the case at Chester Racecourse as that track in slap bang in the middle of the City Centre.

But with racecourses in general being miles away from anywhere it has often been found that race goers do not get a signal on their mobile phones but this will now change thanks to BetFair, which once the initial service is up and running at Chester they are probably going to be rolling it out to a lot of other racecourses across the UK.

What BetFair and now going to be doing is to have their own Wifi Hotspot available to anyone wishing to use the service as opposed to using their mobile devices standard internet connection, and by offering this service BetFair will be hoping to attract a lot of punters to use their Betting Exchange whilst piggy banking onto their Wifi service.

As the service is expected to be free anyone wishing to use it will of course have to sign up to use the Wifi service and this is what is going to be valuable to BetFair as they can use that information to provide those race goers with marketing information and the such like.

It may be worth your while actually checking out what BetFair offer via their Betting Exchange for if you are used to placing your wagers only via Sportsbooks and UK betting sites then the Betting Exchange concept is going to revolutionize your betting experience for BetFair allow you to bet on horses to win as usual but you will also be able to lay a horse to lose, and if that horse you laid then loses you win, so effectively you become a bookmaker taking wagers from other punters and profiting when those punters’ bets lose!

Checkout the BetFair website for a step by step guide on how to use their Betting Exchange.
